Peridot WWI Military Officer Redesign (Steven Universe Fan Art)

A complete redesign set reimagining Peridot from Steven Universe as a WWI-era military officer, developed from base sculpt to fully colored final scenes. The set includes two base mesh turnarounds showing the raw sculpt and proportions, two clean colored turnarounds highlighting the finished uniform details (cap, tie, belt, boots), and two fully rendered scene shots — a side profile and a hands-on-hips command pose — both set against a weathered WWI tank backdrop. Together these pieces walk through the full design process: from initial form to a finished character redesign fully pulled out of its original sci-fi setting and reimagined in a gritty, early-20th-century military world, while keeping Peridot's core silhouette and personality instantly recognizable throughout.

A quieter moment — Peridot standing at ease beside the tank, caught in profile. This angle was about letting the silhouette of the redesign speak for itself: the sharp hair shape, the fitted uniform, the posture of someone who's used to giving orders.

ull confidence, front and center. This pose leans into the "commanding officer" read of the redesign — hands on hips, feet planted, tank looming behind her. The final hero shot of the set.

A clean front-facing turnaround of the redesign, isolated from the scene so the uniform details read clearly — tie, belt buckle, pocket stitching, and that signature triangular hairstyle reworked into the military cap.

A second front-facing pass on the same turnaround, refining lighting and color consistency across the uniform before the final scene comps. Useful as a clean reference shot of the completed redesign.
